Why Diplomatic Missions Fit Out With Installers Ghana
A diplomatic fit-out is judged on more than the finish — it is judged on whether the mission can trust the team inside its walls. A chancery, a consular area, or an official residence has to be fitted out by people who understand that security and discretion are part of the specification, not an afterthought. Sequencing trades through a controlled, sensitive environment, to programme, by a vetted team, is a specialist fit-out discipline — not a general build.
Installers Ghana has installed and coordinated interiors, finishes, MEP, and specialist equipment to programme since 1988. We fit out diplomatic premises with the discretion the setting demands — a managed, vetted team, controlled site access, and a working space handed over to the Ghana Building Code (GS 1207:2018).
What Embassy Fit-Out Demands
Security and Vetted Access
The defining requirement is trust. We staff diplomatic commissions with a managed, vetted team, control who is on site and when, and work to the mission’s own access and security protocols — so the people inside the building are accountable and known, and the work proceeds without compromising the premises.
Discretion Through Delivery
A diplomatic fit-out is rarely advertised. We work with discretion from survey to handover — quiet logistics, controlled documentation, and no public association the mission has not approved — and phase the installation around the operation of an occupied, sensitive building so its function continues alongside the work.
Representational Standard, Coordinated
A mission’s interior represents a state, and the specification reflects it — quality finishes, joinery, and MEP coordinated so the space reads as it should and works as it must. We install to that standard and coordinate the lots so the finish and the services land together, on programme.
Our Embassy Fit-Out Scope
- Fit-Out & Interior Installation — interiors, finishes, MEP, and equipment to programme
- Commercial Fit-Out — chanceries, consular areas, and offices fitted out to standard
- MEP Integration — power, data, and services coordinated with the finishes
- Retrofitting Services — upgrading and refurbishing existing mission premises in occupied buildings
- Turnkey Interior Installation — a complete, representational space handed over working

Credentialed & Accountable
- Installs to Ghana’s building regulations (L.I. 1630) and the Ghana Building Code (GS 1207:2018)
- Registered engineering (GhIE) and quantity-surveying (GhIS) input where the project requires it
- Building-permit and EPA permitting (L.I. 1652) handled where the work requires it
- Established 1988 — a real fit-out specialist with a portfolio and a written workmanship warranty
Scope & BoQ
There is no honest per-square-metre rate for a diplomatic fit-out — the cost depends entirely on the scope, the security requirement, and the finish level, and a consular counter, a chancery office, and an official residence are not the same number. The real cost comes from a Bill of Quantities measured against your scope, prepared by a quantity surveyor, so the mission commits on a measured cost and a real programme — not a guess that moves once work starts. Diplomatic Missions Across Ghana
We fit out embassies, high commissions, and diplomatic residences across Cantonments, Airport City, Ridge, and Greater Accra — plus Kumasi and Takoradi. Wherever the mission is, the discipline is the same: a vetted team, discretion through delivery, scoped and priced on a BoQ, and handed over working.
